In our previous research, we developed polarization imaging using a liquid crystal polarization diffraction grating to demonstrate polarization imaging extending to the mid-infrared range under polarized illumination. This time, we aimed to decompose the polarization characteristics of samples that cause light scattering in visible light into dichroism, retardance, and scattering components, and perform detailed analysis by combining the previously demonstrated mid-infrared polarization imaging method with Lu-Chipman decomposition.
