At the Data Chemical Engineering Laboratory https://datachemeng.com/, we leverage diverse types of data to transform the tacit knowledge embedded in data into explicit knowledge and formulate it as mathematical models. Based on these models, we design new molecules, materials, and processes, and also develop strategies for process control. In this lecture, I will introduce our research on process-informative data in the context of process informatics.
