When the intersubband energy in a GaAs/AlGaAs quantum well corresponds to the LO phonon energy, the electron system in the quantum well couples coherently with LO phonons through intersubband transitions. A charge-sensitive infrared phototransistor is expected to electrically read out this coherent resonant polaron. In this presentation, we report the design concept of the quantum structure, the simulation results, and the obtained crystal properties.
