We perform single-ion spectroscopy of the 2S1/2(F=0) - 2D3/2(F=2) clock transition at 435 nm in 171Yb+. 171Yb+ has magnetic-field insensitive transitions. We detect mF=0 to 0 magnetic-field insensitive components. We observe that the carrier spectrum is stronger than any sidebands. This result shows a better resolution and indicates a lower temperature than those obtained in our previous report.
