To clarify the spin dynamics of the two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in a (001) GaAs/AlGaAs single heterointerface, we evaluated the excitation energy dependence of the g-factor. The g-factor exhibited a linear increase with increasing excitation energy. By extrapolating the linear fit to the Fermi level (1.523 eV), we obtained a g-factor of -0.35. This value differs from that of bulk GaAs (-0.44), indicating that the observed spin signals originate from the 2DEG.
