We have grown Fe-Ga magnetostrictive alloy single crystals in the shape of square prisms up to 2.6 inch square x 100 mm length using the vertical Bridgman (VB) method. We have developed the processing method for Fe-Ga plates that can be used for magnetostrictive vibration power generators for IoT (Internet of Things), and have produced 16x4x0.5mm or 32x8x1mm or 64x16x2mm members with uniform power generation characteristics. This time, we processed 96x24x3mm plates from the 2.6 inch square Fe-Ga single crystal ingots, and investigated the force factor α that is the electromechanical coupling factor in energy conversion process.
