By the light illumination to the Ag/ amorphous chalcogenide bilayer films, silver diffuses into amorphous chalcogenide. In the oral presentation, we investigate the changes in the electronic and bonding states of the Ag, Ge, and S atoms on the Ag 30 nm/ GeS₂ 200 nm/ Si substrate by silver photo-diffusion induced by quasi-monochromatized light of 408 nm using X-ray photoemission spectroscopy.
