This symposium will focus on novel photothermal phenomena realized through processes in which light, matter, and heat are coupled in nanoscale spaces. Advanced research achievements will be presented through invited talks, including photothermally driven chemical reactions, molecular transport, and fluid control, as well as their extensions to super-resolution measurements, quantum life science studies, and applications in drug discovery and medicine. The symposium will also address the scientific impact of these topics and their potential to generate new research fields and innovations.
