[17a-M_123-1]Light-Induced Threshold-Voltage Memory Effect in TIPS Pentacene Transistors

In this study, we investigated the positive shift in threshold voltage observed in TIPS pentacene organic transistors after light irradiation in the absence of an external voltage. Hypothesizing that hydroxyl groups on the SiO2 surface act as electron traps, we verified this using SAM modification. The results showed that the change in surface potential during light irradiation was suppressed, demonstrating that hydroxyl groups on the SiO2 surface play a dominant role in the dissociation of photo-excitons and charge trapping processes.
