Epigenetic gene regulation by DNA methylation is thought to be involved in diseases such as cancer and diseases. In order to detect DNA methylation, bisulfite treatment, PCR and DNA sequencer have been widely used. However, there are problems such as complicated operation and long time required to obtain the result. In this study, we report a DNA methylation detection method using restriction enzyme reaction and nanoimprinted photonic crystal.
