[17a-PA1-22]Synthesis and characterization for polycrystalline element-substituted La(O,F)BiS2

LaOBiS2, which belongs to a BiS2-based compound, has a layered structure consisting of insulating LaO layers and conducting BiS2 layers, and shows semiconducting properties. When part of the oxygen in the LaO layers is replaced with fluorine, electron carriers are doped into the BiS2 layers, and superconductivity appears. In addition, these compounds are also known to show good thermoelectric performance. To examine a Sr substitution effect at La site in La(O,F)(Bi,Pb)S2 for thermoelectric properties, we synthesized polycrystalline samples of La1-xSrxO0.4F0.6Bi0.88Pb0.12S2(x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15) and evaluate their properties.
