AFM-IR combines the chemical identification capability of infrared spectroscopy with the high spatial resolution of atomic force microscopy, enabling nanoscale chemical structure analysis that is difficult to achieve with conventional vibrational spectroscopy. In this study, we present structural analysis case studies on polymer alloys, polyimide epoxy adhesive interfaces, and polyamide 66 glass fiber composites.
