Terahertz (THz) wireless communication technology has attracted significant attention for future high-capacity wireless communications. In this study, as we have previously proposed, we demonstrate the generation of THz modulated waves by combining a silicon photonics based two-wavelength tunable laser with modulation in the optical domain. Furthermore, by applying pseudo PAM4 modulation, we realize a 25 Gbps multilevel THz modulated wave, thereby demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach for high-capacity wireless communications in the THz band.
