While X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is a standard method for elemental analysis in solids, it cannot directly detect light elements like lithium (Li). Conversely, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is capable of detecting Li but lacks high quantitative precision. This report experimentally examines the determination of Li concentration using
CO2 laser based LIBS (CO2-LIBS).
