Recently, for near infrared application, AgBiS₂ nanocrystals became ecofriendly alternative to PbS colloidal quantum dot. Here, we compare the performance of sandwich-type photodiodes that use PbS colloidal QDs and AgBiS₂ nanocrystals as active materials. Furthermore, the performance comparisons of these two materials are commensurate with the findings in the corresponding planar devices.
