Keywords:
Lithium-ion rechargeable battery
This study focused on the battery characteristics of porous silicon particle anodes derived from Al–Si alloys and porous silicon particle anodes fabricated using a three-stage ball milling method developed during undergraduate studies. Despite significant differences in fabrication processes and particle size, both exhibited similar behavior in the cycling characteristics of lithium-ion secondary batteries.
This presentation examines the underlying factors from the perspective of porous structure and discusses the structural elements contributing to the stable operation of Si anodes.
