We have discovered that ionic gels with specific compositions can autonomously move on the water surface. We call such gels self-propelled ion gels. We have reported that such a multi-body system can serve as a model for the motion of gas molecules because the gel particles do not interact with other gel particles. We have established a method to change the distribution in a multi-body system from an equilibrium state to a non-equilibrium state using an electric shutter with an image recognition function. In this study, we report an improvement by expanding the image recognition area to increase the number of controllable gel particles.
