We analyze the polarization structure of optical skin modes in an MT-symmetric anisotropic medium and identify a characteristic polarization texture that implies a finite spin angular momentum. These results provide a new viewpoint on the angular momentum and optical torque associated with the non-Hermitian skin effect, and suggest the possibility of experimentally exciting polarization-selective skin modes using circularly polarized light.
