Organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) are expected to serve as key components in next-generation electronics due to their light weight and mechanical flexibility. In this study, we performed time-resolved observations of the carrier injection process from the contact electrodes into the semiconductor layer using an extended time-domain reflectometry technique that we have developed. Based on the time evolution of the carrier injection length and its gate voltage dependence, we discuss the initial process of the carrier injection.
