With the expansion of renewable energy systems and high-voltage DC transmission, high-precision current measurements compatible with both AC and DC have become increasingly important. This invited talk presents the development of next-generation current comparators based on NV-diamond quantum magnetic sensors. By directly detecting magnetic flux generated by current, the proposed approach aims to establish an integrated AC/DC measurement framework. Recent international standardization activities in quantum sensing, including those in ISO/IEC JTC 3 and NMI-Q, will also be introduced.
