[17p-W2_402-8] Crystal and Surface Structures of C₆₀ on Soluble Organic Semiconductor Single Crystals

To elucidate the crystal structure of C₆₀ on soluble organic semiconductor single crystals, samples of C60 vacuum-deposited onto dialkyl BTBT and TIPS-Pn single crystals were measured using GIXD and AFM. On C8-BTBT, C₆₀ exhibited epitaxial growth with (111) orientation and two domains. In contrast, on TIPS-Pn, the C₆₀ device ring was observed, and the material became polycrystalline.
