Moisture electric (ME) generator, which can convert moisture energy into electricity, is attracting much attention as a new power source. To enhance ME output, simultaneous increase of current and voltage is required. In addition, it has been reported that ME outputs of the materials are high and low at high and low humidity ranges, respectively. However, there are a lot of environments at low humidity. In this study, we simultaneously increase voltage and current by increasing water uptake ability in the sulfate-ion-intercalated graphene oxide films with controlled interlayer spacing.
