We are developing a thermal balance model for photovoltaic (PV) modules under actual installation conditions. As part of this work, we are developing a method to determine the effective convective heat transfer coefficient, h_eff (W m^-2 K^-1), which is a key model parameter, based on field measurement data from outdoor-installed PV modules. In such measurements, partial shading can be a source of error due to discrepancies between the solar irradiance measured by a pyranometer installed at a specific location and the actual irradiance incident on the PV module, and therefore requires careful consideration. In this study, measurements were conducted under installation conditions where partial shading occurred.
