In this presentation, we report the chiral second-harmonic generation (SHG) properties of vertically arranged Au nanoparticle dimer structures. The dimers consist of combinations of rectangular rod-shaped and isosceles triangular Au nanoparticles. We observe pronounced circular-dichroic SHG signals originating from structures that are intrinsically chiral, independent of the relative particle arrangement.
