In organic devices, achieving both light emission and power generation—two conflicting processes—is challenging. A significant issue is the substantial decrease in the fill factor (FF) during power generation within the donor-acceptor mixed layer, which serves as both the light-emitting layer and the charge separation layer. This study aimed to maintain a high FF in devices incorporating a mixed layer by selecting appropriate donor materials and optimizing the device structure. Additionally, the addition of emitter materials to the mixed layer was investigated to enhance luminescence efficiency.
