Triplet–triplet annihilation upconversion (TTA-UC) relies on intermolecular triplet energy transfer, but in solid systems, aggregation-induced deactivation of triplet energy becomes a major challenge. In this study, we aim to clarify how differences in the oriented structures of PVA stretched films, modified by the addition of quaternary ammonium and phosphonium salts, influence dye aggregation states and UC emission properties through spectroscopic analysis.
