Broadband optical comb generation requires a wide spectral span for frequency stabilization; however, the modulation depth of a standalone modulator is inherently limited. In this study, we numerically demonstrated the generation of a 25-GHz electro-optic (EO) comb covering a 1-THz bandwidth using a Mach-Zehnder modulator equipped with a feedback waveguide. A key feature of the proposed modulator is its capability to tune the Q-factor by shifting the operating point, thereby enabling significant narrowing of the comb line-width.
