We report on the structural coloration arising from two-dimensionally arranged monolayers of core-shell (Si@SiO2) particles. These particles consist of crystalline silicon (Si) cores coated with silica shells. The Si cores exhibit vivid scattering colors in the visible range due to Mie resonances. While the total reflectance of a monolayer without shells is limited to approximately 50%, the core-shell structure enhances this value to around 70%. We discuss the mechanism of this reflectance enhancement induced by the silica shell, utilizing both computational simulations and experimental results.
