We fabricated organic solid-state DFB laser devices using the novel gain material DSFIF-syn and evaluated their lasing characteristics in the UV region. By precisely controlling the grating period, we achieved laser oscillation at 358.9 nm, surpassing the previously reported shortest wavelength record.
