神戸大学大学院総合人間科学研究科博士課程後期課程修了。和歌山大学教育学部を経て、2023年より関西大学人間健康学部。マスターズ甲子園実行委員会副委員長、World Masters games 2027 Kansai交通・宿泊委員会委員、同・硬式野球運営委員会副委員長。2021年・第23回秩父宮スポーツ医・科学賞奨励賞受賞。
