2013年 徳島大学大学院医科学教育部医学専攻博士課程後期課程修了 博士（医学）
栄養疫学、社会医学、国際栄養等の多方面から研究を実施。2019～2025年3月 国立研究開発法人医薬基盤・健康・栄養研究所 国立健康・栄養研究所 室長、2025年4月～客員研究員。2025年4月～ 立命館大学 食マネジメント学部 准教授
