小児緩和ケアの意思決定における行動経済学とナッジの活用

小児がんや重篤な病と向き合うこどもたちは、体感と周囲からの説明を通して自らの病いを知り、検査や治療の体験を積み重ねる中で思いや意思を形づくっていく。その過程で生まれる声や表現―明示的な意思表明だけでなく、言動や体験ににじむ思いも含めて―を聴き、受けとめ、それを医療や療養の場の選択へといかに反映していくのかが、本シンポジウムのテーマである。意思決定を、こども・家族・医療者の関係性の中で形成されていくプロセスとして捉え、年齢や発達段階、ひとり一人のこどもの経験に応じた関わり方への理解を深めたい。治療の節目や終末期における親の苦悩や、医療者の葛藤も含め、日々こどもたちと向き合う多職種の実践に学びながら、こどもの意思を支えるあり方を考える機会としたい。
