Nanoendoscopy-AFM measurement of the effect of epithelial-mesenchymal transition on nuclear membrane elasticity in the living cell

In eukaryotes, the nuclear envelope regulates nuclear functions by enclosing chromatin higher-order structures. Genetic mutations in nuclear membrane-associated proteins lead to intractable diseases known as nuclear envelopathies. This symposium will focus on the life phenomena related to these diseases, such as metabolic regulation, inflammatory reaction and immune response, to present the frontiers of nuclear envelope biology, which are conducted by cross-sectional studies including molecular structure analysis, image analysis, bioinformatics and clinical specimen analysis. The discussion will revolve around the latest findings, emphasizing the basic structure and functions of the nuclear envelope.<br>
