Seminar Booth 1 (Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall)
In next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis, highly fragmented samples such as FFPE-derived DNA and ultra-short DNA fragments have posed significant challenges for conventional library preparation methods.
Takara Bio has long provided innovative solutions for low-input DNA analysis through technologies such as ThruPLEX and PicoPLEX. Building on this expertise, we have recently launched the ssDNA-Seq Kit, which incorporates a novel Single-Strand DNA Ligase capable of highly efficient ligation of single-stranded DNA molecules.
This kit enables simple and efficient NGS library preparation from both single-stranded and double-stranded DNA.
In this seminar, we will introduce the underlying principles and key features of this technology, along with application examples using challenging samples such as FFPE-derived DNA and cfDNA, which have traditionally been difficult to analyze with conventional methods.
