一般炭および原料炭などの石炭の月間消費量と原油などの月間消費量を長期変化傾向、季節的な変動および非周期的な変動に分類し、それらの相関関係を国内のCO2大気排出量が最大となった以降の統計データに基づいて調べた。過去10年余りにおける国内の化石燃料資源の動向から、今後の消費動向に関する推定を行った。
