Requirements for Publication (Poster Presentation)
During this conference, we will hold the “Spring Poster Exchange Session for Students and Companies” on the second day of the conference (March 2) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This event is designed to showcase the appeal of this field to undergraduate and graduate students interested in the resources and materials industry.
In this event, students and companies will bring posters introducing their research activities or company profiles. Unlike the atmosphere of academic sessions, this is a relaxed networking session where participants can enjoy drinks and snacks while deepening mutual understanding among companies and fellow students.
Since the posters here are intended as self-introductions for networking, we do not require academic novelty or a high level of research completion.
Please prepare a poster that allows you to casually introduce your research, making use of existing materials if desired.
● Student Posters: Participation is open to everyone from undergraduate students to doctoral candidates. Please feel free to introduce your research content and ideas. (You may reuse existing posters.)
We warmly invite students and companies from across the country to actively participate in this event, which is unique to the Spring Conference held in the Kanto region.
Call for Student Posters!
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students [Undergraduates (3rd and 4th year), Master’s students, Ph.D. students]
Presentation Topic: Open (You may present your lab’s initiatives, key selling points, research concepts, flashes of inspiration, or ideas—even if no results have been produced yet.)
We are now accepting submissions for the “Student Posters” portion of this event.
We invite undergraduate and graduate students to prepare posters explaining the research they are currently conducting or planning to pursue—even if it is still in progress or merely a concept without concrete results yet—and to present them. Please feel free to engage in open discussion, incorporating your personal perspectives on the field of resources and materials.
There is no requirement for purely academic posters; if you have existing materials, such as past posters, you are welcome to use them.
We also encourage students with no prior conference presentation experience to take this opportunity to practice. By engaging in a wide-ranging exchange of ideas with industry representatives and fellow students, you may discover new insights for your research.
Conversely, your flexible and innovative ideas may inspire industry professionals, leading to unexpected connections and opportunities.
