The objective of this symposium is to discuss the results of frontier researches in medicinal chemistry. The wisdom and tremendous efforts of humanity have made great progress in medical and pharmaceutical fields, which allow us to overcome various kinds of diseases through the innovative methods for treatments. However, there remain unmet medical needs even in this era. To keep developing pharmaceutical sciences, it is essential for researchers with different expertise to make their progresses and challenges visible. In this symposium, we will invite the researchers who has been leading current medicinal chemistry and have time to discuss the problems in pharmaceutical sciences and their original strategies towards the challenges.
