Career advancement requires a board-certified pharmacy specialist and a doctoral degree, as well as the continued conduct of high-quality research. In order to conduct high-quality research, it is necessary to “Appropriate clinical question setting”, “Appropriate research design”, “Securing sufficient sample size”, “Appropriate statistical analysis method” and “Instructor training”. However, it is difficult for a single medical institution or organization to solve these issues. Therefore, collaborative research by multiple institutions is attracting attention. In this symposium, we would like to discuss the construction of the environment for future human resource development with a view to career paths by having pharmacists who have practiced multi-institutional collaborative research introduce actual examples.
