On the occasion of the 41st Annual Meeting of the Society of Population Ecology

The 41st Meeting of the Society of Population Ecology in 2025 will be held at Doshisha University in Kyoto. While the meeting is typically held between October and November, this year's conference will take place slightly earlier, in mid-September, due to venue availability and other considerations.

As Kyoto has recently experienced an increase in inbound tourism, securing accommodation may prove to be challenging. We strongly encourage participants to book their accommodation as early as possible and plan accordingly to ensure a smooth experience.

This year’s conference will feature a diverse range of symposia. In addition to the core of population ecology research, we will focus on the intersections with related fields. Through these discussions, we aim to explore the broader potential of population ecology. We look forward to sharing new perspectives with all participants and hope you are as excited as we are for this event!
