Quasi-spatial single-cell transcriptome based on physical tissue properties defines early aging associated niche in liver

Co-hosted by: JSPS A3 Foresight Program "The mechanism of cellular senescence in aging and chronic diseases: exploration of senescence biomarkers and target molecules for therapeutic potential"

Understanding organismal aging requires integrated insights into age-related physiological changes at molecular, cellular, and systemic levels across organs. While cellular senescence contributes to aging, its impact varies by biological context. In this international symposium, researchers from KRIBB, Korea, will join Japanese specialists to explore mechanisms of aging. Under the theme “Molecular Pathophysiology of Cellular Senescence and Aging", topics include oocyte aging, single-cell changes in aged organs, shifts in gut microbiota and intestinal immunity, senescence in the tumor microenvironment, and anti-aging effects of exercise.
