[A-13-05]Improved Resource Management for Low-Latency Transmission of Aperiodic Emergency Information in Vehicular Platooning

In vehicular platooning using C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) sidelink communication, each vehicle transmits periodic vehicle information and aperiodic emergency information [1]. Since emergency information transmission requires high reliability, duplicate transmission within the delay requirement has been studied [2]. In particular, emergency information transmission within a platoon should achieve lower latency. To address this requirement, a resource control method using non-uniform subwindows has been proposed in previous research [3]. Although the conventional method improves delay performance, it causes another issue problem of reduced delivery ratio. In this paper, we propose an improved method to suppress the decrease in delivery ratio and evaluate its performance.
