To deploy high-capacity, low-latency end-to-end (E2E) optical paths over wide areas, efforts are underway to implement wavelength conversion paths that connect multiple optical paths using different wavelengths to form E2E optical path connections. In this paper, we propose a wavelength conversion path operation method that enables rapid and reliable connection restoration by centrally managing the state of optical wavelength resources and partially reconfiguring the E2E optical path connection by referencing historical optical path configuration data in the event of connection failures.If a connection failure is detected in a wavelength conversion path, the proposed method allows for the selective application of combinations of optical wavelength resources and parameters with a high probability of successful signal transmission, based on historical configuration data. Therefore, the proposed method is expected to improve the rapidity and reliability of connection restoration through the partial reconfiguration of wavelength conversion paths.
