The Spatio-Temporal Data-Retention System (STD-RS) has been proposed to efficiently disseminate and retain spatio-temporal data (STD), which is utilized within a specific area, inside the corresponding area. STD-RS enables users to passively obtain data. In contrast, a related study introduced Information-Centric Networking (ICN) into STD-RS and realized a user-driven active data retrieval method. However, this method depends on user data requests, and when no Interest packets are generated, opportunities for passive data dissemination decrease. To address this problem, this study proposes a method that uses Reply packets not only as responses in ICN-based communication but also as control information for periodic transmissions. The proposed method suppresses redundant transmissions in the cycle in which active retrieval has been performed.
