This paper presents a performance comparison of spectral ratio and cross-ambiguity function (CAF) for Doppler estimation in a non-cooperative passive mmWave ISAC system. Spectral ratio applies frame segmentation and computes the ratio of sensing to reference channel spectra to generate the Doppler spectrogram. CAF, evaluated at zero delay, computes the conjugate product of the continuous sensing and reference signals and obtains the Doppler spectrogram as a zero-delay slice. Experiments were conducted in an indoor environment with a walking human subject. Results show that spectral ratio produces visible spurious symmetric Doppler components on the positive velocity side, whereas CAF substantially suppresses these components, yielding a cleaner spectrogram under stable transmitted signal power conditions.
