The use of sub-terahertz waves in the 300 GHz band is expected to enhance the performance of next-generation communication systems. In vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, however, direct waves may be blocked by buildings in non-line-of-sight (NLoS) environments such as intersections, resulting in communication outages. Therefore, the analysis of propagation paths is essential for investigating countermeasures against such issues. Previous studies have analyzed propagation paths using a vector network analyzer (VNA); however, the transmitter and receiver antenna heights employed in those studies were relatively high and do not adequately represent practical V2V communication scenarios. In this paper, radio-wave propagation in an NLoS environment with low antenna heights at 300 GHz was measured, and the results are presented.
