This paper focuses on road-aligned LoS probability and proposes a method for estimating the building-to-building spacing and the visible road length from the building occupancy ratio and building number density, which can be easily obtained from map information. The LoS probabilities estimated using the proposed method are then compared with those obtained by simulations using actual urban map data. The results show that the proposed method can estimate LoS probability for urban areas while reflecting differences in urban geometry.
