Understanding the distribution of electric field strength in mobile communication systems is important for evaluating interference between devices and human exposure. Machine-learning-based methods for estimating wide-area electric field strength have been studied, and base station location information is important for improving estimation accuracy.

However, it is difficult to obtain base station location information over a wide area, resulting in a lack of input information required for electric field strength estimation. Therefore, this study aims to develop a base station exploration agent that automatically searches for base station candidates using Panoramax, an OpenStreetMap-based street-level panorama platform, and estimates their directions in order to acquire input information for an electric field strength estimation model.

This paper describes the configuration of the proposed base station exploration agent and a method for estimating the positions of base station candidates from image detection results.
