Reservoir computing (RC) enables pilot-efficient OFDM reception by learning only the readout weights while keeping the input and reservoir weights fixed. Conventional time-domain RC receivers use a common readout before FFT, which limits adaptation to subcarrier-dependent channel responses or distortion. This paper proposes an RC-based OFDM receiver that maps reservoir states onto the OFDM resource grid by FFT and applies subcarrier-adaptive readout weights represented with a discrete cosine transform basis. The proposed method preserves the fast learning capability of RC while improving subcarrier-dependent processing, reducing the BER from 0.071 to 0.023 at Eb/N0=15 dB for a 300 ns delay spread.
