At construction sites for high-rise buildings and similar structures, there is a growing need for radio-based positioning technologies to ensure worker safety and manage equipment placement. Although indoor positioning methods using existing infrastructure such as wireless LAN have been studied, construction sites often lack such infrastructure and their internal structures change continuously. Therefore, establishing a 3D positioning system that can cover an entire building with only a small number of radio devices is a key challenge. The authors previously proposed a position estimation technique using a small number of LoRa radio transmitters deployed within a building. In this paper, we focus on an indoor positioning system using movable antennas and compare its performance when applying an automatic estimation method for the distance attenuation coefficient. A rotating antenna is installed at a fixed station, and position estimation is performed using either the average or maximum RSS observed during antenna rotation. The positioning performance is evaluated through indoor experiments.
