For the real-world deployment of physical AI, which integrates robotics and large foundation models, low-latency processing of massive amounts of data and the optimization of associated power consumption are indispensable. This presentation discusses the importance of next-generation communication infrastructure bridging the physical world and cyberspace, as well as novel architectures that comprehensively manage communications and power data. By introducing the latest trends from major standards development organizations (e.g., ITU-T), this talk explores the prospects and challenges of how advanced ICT infrastructure can simultaneously achieve both innovation in physical AI and sustainability.
